Trees & Grass Verges on Alma Road Reported

After speaking to local residents, Hazel Grove Councillor Oliver Johnstone has requested that the Council cut back and inspect the large tree on Alma Road in Hazel Grove.

The tree overhangs residents' gardens, covering driveways in seeds and broken branches. Cllr Johnstone also raised questions regarding the health of the tree.

Oliver said, "A number of trees in the area have come down in the area after having found to be rotten. I have requested for the tree to be inspected so that residents will have piece of mind that the tree is safe. A number of homeowners on Alma Road have told me how the tree sways violently when it is windy."

Cllr Johnstone also asked for the overgrown grass verges to be mown as they are looking untidy and in poor condition.
