Lighting improvements to commence soon as Mend The Mound petition hits 750 signatures

We are pleased to report that the council has confirmed that the lighting at the Mound will be improved in the week commencing 12th May following the first success for our Mend The Mound petition. Minor improvements to lighting at the back of the Mound will also take place before then.

We would like to again thank everyone who has helped us get this far.  The lighting improvements that our campaign has secured are a good start - but we still need to see the council take real action on empty premises and locally-monitored CCTV.

In other news, the petition for the whole of our 3-point plan has now reached 750 signatures - please keep sharing it with your friends and family!
